Financial freedom is personal—but it doesn’t have to be solitary.
The Standing on Business Brunch was born out of years of authentic conversation, shared vision, and mutual accountability between two creative entrepreneurs. Kailah Ware of Sunny Blu Art Agency and Sierra Hayden of We Outside Cincinnati have built a 20-year relationship rooted in trust, growth, and purpose. As longtime friends in both business and life, they’ve consistently held space for one another—discussing everything from strategic planning to financial goals to personal breakthroughs.
Through those conversations, a pattern emerged: the most transformative financial shifts often started with honest dialogue, a supportive circle, and culturally relevant tools. They realized if those private conversations had such a powerful impact on their own journeys, they could spark change within the broader community too.
That insight became the foundation of the Standing on Business Brunch—a space designed to help our community take ownership of financial freedom, together.
Our goals are clear:
Normalize open, judgment-free conversations about money, credit, and ownership
Provide accessible tools and strategies to help attendees grow on their financial journeys
Highlight and support Black-owned businesses and vendors
Cultivate an atmosphere of connection, clarity, and cultural celebration
This gathering is about more than numbers—it’s about healing, education, and elevation. We’re here to break generational cycles, shift narratives around money, and build a culture of empowerment through strategic learning and community support.
Together, we’re rewriting the narrative and standing on business, boldly and intentionally.
